Couldn't resist a day skiing at the remarkables, and found an apres bar with Erdinger, so had to have one for you all.
Remarkables are actually anything but. Second largest ski area around Queenstown has all of 3 slow quad chairs that go much more along than up and even then they don't go far - I have not been on such a slow chair in the past 15 years. If this is as good as the southern hemisphere gets its no wonder they all come to Europe. Very windy as the bad weather system is still kicking around so loose blow is making it an occasional white out and brings you to a halt on the flat bits unless you tuck, so no nice mountain pictures :-(
But at least I am not commuting to the office.
