Done In with DIY

Having spent the last 2 weeks of my non-gardening leave with no actual work to do, I've just about finished sorting out the garden, sheds and have finished the last real "must do" job before putting the house up for rent : giving the conservatory walls a fresh coat of paint. It was nice to actually go out to visit a customer today for a rest...hands are covered in nicks and scratches, ingrained with dirt from weeding and putting bark down, legs are  sore from alternatively kneeling down and climbing ladders, shoulders and back are aching from twisting and stretching, I'm definitely getting to old for this lark - need a nice long holiday.....

at the end of the tunnel has officially been switched on. Handed my notice in today - still have to work for the next 3 months as I'm not important enough to get gardening leave, but hopefully there won't be that much work coming my way. But just in case I got most of the garden done over the past few weeks while it was nice and warm and quiet at work. Serious sorting out starts this week with the sheds, then bits from the house can start boxing up and going down there. Going to be busy, as I've accumulated a lot of crap over the years, and Maria is even worse :-)
